Swathe Services plan Singlebeam & Multibeam HYPACK Training for April/May 2021
The Coronavirus pandemic has made the delivery of face-to-face learning challenging. Swathe Services in conjunction with HYPACK are planning 0nline classes offering interactive remote access to the survey platform (manned USV ) The remote attendee will be able to step into the role of the online surveyor, configure the sensors and conduct the survey. The instructor will then lead on data processing, and an introduction to generating final products.
The HYPACK Singlebeam Survey course will be delivered over 3 days, to include:
- Introduction to HYPACK and surveying
- Positioning – Geodesy and RTK
- Sensor theory
- Singlebeam hardware configuration
- Sounding selection
- Introduction to final products
The HYPACK Multibeam Survey course delivered over 5 days, to include:
- Introduction to HYPACK and surveying
- Positioning – Geodesy and RTK
- Sensor theory
- HYPACK Survey (MBES data collection)
- Multibeam hardware configuration
- Patch and performance test
- Introduction to final products
